Ella Caroline Kruse Naeve, age 87, of Sabula, Iowa, died Monday, March 6, 2006.
She was born January 5, 1919, the daughter of Charles and Mathilda Bell Kruse on the family farm near Dulton, Illinois.
Ella was educated at Frog Pond Country School near Fulton.
In 1938, Ella married Orin C. Naeve, Sr., in Clinton, Iowa. Orin passed away in 1967.
She worked at several nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants and the Sabula Speaker Factory.
Ella loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She very much enjoyed taking care of her animals and her garden.
Ella is survived by her three sons, Orin {Sheryl} Naeve, Jr. of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Richard {Sherri} Naeve of Clinton, Iowa; and Donald {Sue} Naeve of Sabula, Iowa; six granddaughters, Erica, Toni, Nikki, Julie, Deyenna and Denise; two grandsons, Dillion and Mark; fourteen great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Rathje of Sabula; one brother, Charles Kruse, Jr. of Maquoketa, Iowa; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Ron and Lorin; one brother, Carl; one sister, Marian; and one grandson, Brian.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the family in Ella's name. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, Iowa.
Burial in Lower York Cemetery, Thomson, Illnois.
