Ella Leah Broadbent Hines McGee was born March 16, 1911 at Butler, Oklahoma to Hayes and Mary Broadbent and died March 30, 1993 in Ukiah, California at age 82.
She was raised in the Butler, Oklahoma area.
In 1926 she married Ellis Hines. He died in 1934.
In 1939 she married Onley Eston McGee in Exeter, California. He died March 30, 1979.
The McGees moved to the Leedey, Oklahoma area in 1940's and their children attended school at the Three Corner school west of Leedey.
In 1952 they moved back to California settling at Ukiah, California.
Ella was an active member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by twin sons, Kenneth McGee, Thousand Oaks, California; and Clayton McGee and wife Janet, Ukiah, California; one daughter, Leah Faye and husband Bob Dorsey; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Dortha McNobb, Visalia, California; Faye Kauk, Butler, Oklahoma; Gayle Fitzer, Borger, Texas; and Clara Jones, Fay, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; two grandsons, Archie Dorsey and Cameron McGee; one sister, Hazel Ramsey; and two brothers, William Broadbent and Ferris Broadbent.
Services and burial were Tuesday, April 6, 1993 by Eversole Mortuary in Ukiah, California.
