Word has been received here by James M. Lester, that his father, Moses M. Lester died at his home in Tennessee on July 22, 1909.

Mr. Lester was born in North Carolina.

He was the owner of the half-section of land adjoining Cheyenne on the north.

Mr. Lester served in Company B, 9th Tennessee Cavalry during the Civil War.

Burial in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, Tennessee; Section C, Row 4, Site 12.
