Clarence O. Brinlee, 81, of Los Banos died Sunday at Los Banos Community Hospital.

Mr. Brinlee was a native of Durham, Oklahoma.

He lived in Los Banos many years.

He was a caretaker for the Merced County Parks and Recreation Department for 25 years.

He is survived by his son, Lloyd Brinlee of Los Banos; a brother, Charlie Brinlee of Los Banos; sisters, Monty Ivy of Oklahoma; Una Lippencott of Los Banos; Lavada Boswell Haworth of Oriville, California; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted at Los Banos Cemetery.

Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
