Miss Minnie Carrol Anderson was born December 27, 1935 in Cheyenne and died in the bus collision near Waco, Texas, August 4th, 1952. She was returning home to Devine, Texas with her mother from visiting in Cheyenne.
She had been a member of the Baptist church for the past three years and made her home with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Anderson until two years ago when she joined her mother and step father in Devine, Texas. She attended the Cheyenne schools.
Survivors include her stepfather, Everett Gattis, U.S. Army in Okinawa and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Anderson of Cheyenne.
Some of the relatives and friends who attended the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Gattis and Minnie Carrol Anderson in Cheyenne Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Bowers of Sayre; Peggie and Laura Bowers of Sayre; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Puckett of Sayre; Mr. and Mrs. George Sollers of Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spitzer of Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. John Winburn of Grimes; Mr. and Mrs. George Winburn of Grimes; Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Winburn and family; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Green and Frances; Mr. and Mrs. Shorty Harmon of Grimes; Memory Sprowls of Erick; Mr. and Mrs. Arbie Eeds and son of Durham and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Godden, Durham.
Interment in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
