Beuna Z. Kingham was born December 24, 1920 in the Meridian community near Sweetwater, Oklahoma to Annie and Melvin Kingham. She passed away August 28, 2002 at her home at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 4 days.
Beuna attended school at Meridian before marrying Wayne Alanson Davis at Sayre, Oklahoma on July 4, 1936. She and Wayne made their home in the Meridian area where they farmed and ranched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one great grandchild and one brother.
Services were held Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Sweetwater Baptist Church, officiated by Ed Wrather. Burial was at the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Carolyn Davis of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; Jerry and Oma Fay Davis of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jackie Rroaddus of Pampa, Texas; Julie and Bryan Frost of Pampa, Texas; Terrill and wife, Laura of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; Heather Davis of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; six great grandchildren, Kirby and Shelby Broaddus, Jacob and Emilee Frost and Annie and Matthew; four sisters, Flossie Ruth Weston of Sayre, Oklahoma; Iris Fern Childress of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; Clara Belle Parsons of Panhandle, Texas; Donna Luthy of Carter, Oklahoma; one brother, Dale Kingham of Panhandle, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
