Arie Younger Bartz, 84, died February 12, 1996 in the Grand Place Nursing
Center in Sayre.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Thursday, February 15, 1996 at the Rose Chapel with C. R. Tucker
officiating.
Burial will be in the Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater,
Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel
Funeral Service of Sayre.
Mrs. Bartz, the daughter of Lula Mae and A. D. Younger, was born on
September 30, 1911, in Allen, Oklahoma.
She married Harvey Bartz on
March 1, 1930, in Sayre and they moved to the Sunny point community,
where they made their home and raised their children.
Nearly 60
years later, Mr. and Mrs. Bartz moved to Sayre in April of 1989.
She
was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, four sisters
and one grandson, Brent Bartz.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey, of Sayre; one daughter and
son-in-law, Della Faye and Ed Roberts of Oklahoma City; one son and
duaghter-in-law, Don and Betty Bartz of Hobbs, New Mexico; one brother,
Herbert C. Younger of Riverside, California; three sisters, Arnold Snow
of Anaheim, California; Ila Anderson of Sweetwater; and Oma Mae
Abendroth of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchldren, Dawn Allums and
husband, Marv, of Naperville, Illinois; Scott Hartman and wife, Renee,
of Oklahoma City; and Shelly Assiter and husband, Scott, of Lubbock,
Texas; four stepgrandchildren, Eva Wheeler and husband, Tim; and Guy
Kenser, all of Hobbs, New Mexico; Danny Roberts and Denise Roberts, both of
Olympia, Washington; eight great grandchildren and several other
relatives and friends.
