John Henry Kepley was the son of James and Louisa Lyvona Chaney Kepley.
He was born in Bolivar, Polk County, Missouri, on August 2, 1869 and died near Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, on October 14, 1941. He was a farmer.
John married Josephine W. Art Archer Taylor, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, on March 3, 1909, and to this union five children were born, Eula Kepley Vian; Cleeta March Kepley Stamper White; James Henry, Jimmy; Virgil and J. N. who was born on March 31, 1926 near Strong City, Oklahoma and died April 22, 1926.
He came to Oklahoma from Polk County, Missouri in 1900. He homesteaded northeast of Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, where he lived the remainder of his life.
James Henry Kepley, son of John Henry and Josephine Archer Kepley, was born northeast of Strong City, Oklahoma, on March 23, 1914 died on July 26, 1929.
Burial in Lone Star cemetery, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma.
