Nellie Pearl Giddens was born to Ophelia Ella Maltby Jones and Roscius Bruce (R.B.) Jones on Feb. 2, 1915, near Strong City, Okla. She lived there on the farm with her parents until she was 3 years old, then the family moved to a farm in the Dempsey Community where she grew to womanhood and attended school, at old Dempsey School and later Meridian and Blueridge. She was converted and joined the Baptist Church when she was eleven years of age. Most of her adult life was spent in Texas near Perryton and Spearman, where she was engaged in the cafe business.She passed away Nov. 9th, 1980 in Oklahoma City.
Burial was in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, OK beside her parents, Ophelia Ella and Roscius Bruce Jones.
