Edward Elmer Bond was born February 4, 1905 and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Oliver Bond, near Harrington, February 7, 1909.
Thus over a happy home the shadow of a grave has fallen; and as another has said, It is wonderful how long a shadow a little grave can throw.
This beautiful baby's life was so sweet and precious, so fraught with blessings to the parents that he seemed a flower from paradise, permitted to bloom for a brief season by their side, then recalled to its native skies, leaving the parents' earth road dark and lonely indeed.
Burial took place in Dempsey cemetery, Grimes.

CARD OF THANKS:
To our many kind friends and neighbors we wish to return our heartfelt thanks for their help and sympathy in this our sudden bereavement.
J. O. and Millie Bond
