W. A. "Bert" Strong

About eight o'clock last evening, November 15, 1900 the town was startled by the report of firearms, some five shots following each other in rapid succession.

It appears that Bert Strong and Tom Colburn had quarreled and that Strong received three fatal wounds, dying instantly.

Three persons are under arrest, Tom Colburn, Hugh Colburn and Ed Woods.
