Virginia Isch was born July 2, 1948 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Juanice and Wayne Parkhurst. She passed away October 12, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 10 days.

Virginia grew up in the Strong City community and attended school at Hammon, graduating from Hammon High School in 1966. She continued her education at Alladin Beauty College in Clinton, Oklahoma where she earned her Cosmetologist Certificate.

She was married to Wayne Thomas and two children were born to his union, Lisa Michelle and Wilson Duane. They lived in Amarillo, Texas for several years until returning to western Oklahoma and made her home in Cheyenne. After Lester passed away she returned to work and was employed at Canyon Oilfield Services and later transferred to Linn Energy where she remained until retiring.

Virginia enjoyed tending to her yard, flowers and fish pond and also liked watching sports, especially OKC Thunder Basketball. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and always had one of her grandchildren close by.

She was preceded in death by her father and husband, Lester.
