Warren Henry Jencks was born October 29th, 1931 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Mary Belle (Nixon) and Paul Robert Jencks. He passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 12th, 2026 at the age of 94 years, 4 months and 12 days.

Warren lived on the family farm for four years, at which time his family moved to El Centro, California, where the family lived for a few months before moving to Portland, Oregon. After a few months in Portland, the family returned to El Centro, where the family resided until December of 1945. They returned to Cheyenne, Oklahoma where he remained until graduating high school in 1950. On December 23, 1950 he was united in marriage to Eulalia Mae (Payne). Together they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where they both attended college and welcomed the birth of their two children, Robert Francis and Dana Rae.


Warren remained in Oklahoma City until March 1st, 1987 when he returned to a ranch in the Cheyenne community. He and his son, Robert, established a cattle ranch. Warren moved back onto the Jencks family homestead, south of Cheyenne before moving to Wellston, Oklahoma to be close to his daughter. It was later that he moved to Meeker following his daughter and her move where he remained for his final years.


He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Jencks; 5 sisters; 1 brother; his brothers and sister-in-law who he thought of as his own siblings.


Warren is survived by his daughter, Dana Rae Boyer and husband, Gary, Shawnee, OK; 3 grandchildren, Rachel Lynn Boyd, Jordan Kayla Hough and husband, William, and Russell Bertrem; 2 great grandsons, Gannon Boyd and Alex Hough; sister, Charlene Fry and a host of other relatives and friends.
