Alvin Clarence Morgan died February 9, 1917 at the home of his grandparents, Mr. And Mrs. W. L. Thomas of near Merritt.

Little Alvin was the son of William L. And Hazel Morgan of Carpenter, who had taken him to his grandparents thinking the change would help him for he had been suffering from tubercolosis since the latter part of December.

He was two years, four months and eight days old.

He was a very bright child, loved by all who knew him.

Only four weeks before his little sister, Jewel Gladys, died from pneumonia.

They were buried in Carpenter cemetery, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma.
