PORCH RITES TO BE HELD THURSDAY
Services Are To Be Held at Berlin Christian Church at 2:30.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Christian church at Berlin for Mrs. Wilhemina Carolina Hokanson Porch who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mathews of Sayre.
Interment will be made at the Berlin cemetery with Moore Funeral home in charge.
Mrs. Porch was born January 21, 1856, in Illinois.

Rites Are Conducted For Long Time Woman Resident of Berlin Community
Funeral services for Mrs. William Newton Porch, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Artie Mathews, in Sayre, were held at the Christian church in Berlin at 2:30 Thursday afternoon. Rev. W. T. Vaughn of Cordell, officiated at the rites.
Mrs. Porch, who was 79 years of age at the time of her death, was born January 20, 1857, at Andover, in Henry County, Illinois.
She was married in 1877 to William Newton Porch at Butler in Bates county, Missouri where they made their home for about eight years.
They moved from Illinois to Kansas and later to Weatherford. They filed on a farm west of Berlin in the early days.
Mr. Porch preceded her in death on January 18, 1925.
She has lived in Sayre for the past few years.
She was confirmed and united with the Swedish Lutheran church in Illinois in her youth. At Berlin she united with the Church of Christ and was a member of the Sayre church.
Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Artie Matthews; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Woodley and Mrs. Emma Carlton; a brother, Robert Hokanson, all of Kansas City; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Interment was made at the Berlin cemetery with the Moore Funeral Home in charge.
