Edwin Douglas Neighbors, 55, died in a local hospital this morning, December 2 at 12:45, after a four day illness.
He was born in September 23, 1878 in Red River county, Texas.
He has lived in the Berlin community and Elk City for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dovey Myrtle Neighbors; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Halterman of Cheyenne; and Mrs. Lois Newman of Sayre; two brothers, Henry Neighbors of Fort Worth and R. J. Neighbors of Vernon, Texas; as well as other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at the Church of Christ at Berlin on Sunday 3:00 p.m. with Rev. N. R. Winters officiating.
Burial at the Berlin cemetery in charge of Killough and Hullum.
