Chauncey "Chance" Bryce Neal was born April 22, 1992 in Sayre, Oklahoma
to Lesley and Kimberly (Baldridge) Neal.
He passed away in Norman,
Oklahoma on October 8, 2020 at the age of 28 years, 5 months and 16
days.
Chauncey grew up in Elk City, Oklahoma. His love of the arts began in
his early years when he became involved with the Red Carpet Theatre
where he was able to travel to many destinations around the world. He
later worked in the hotel industry for the Hampton Inn and Suites for
several years both in Elk City and Ardmore. This is where he met his
partner in life, Casey Bell. Chauncey was an environmentalist and
herbalist. He loved art of all types; music, dance, operas, and theatre
and was an accomplished artist with a lead pencil. He was a collector of
rare coins and loved to go geo caching and metal detecting. He also
loved working with children, especially those that were at a
disadvantage or disabled. He loved photography and had a large
collection of cameras.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leon Neal and Ralph
Osborne.
He is survived by his father, Richard Lesley Neal, Cheyenne, OK, mother,
Kim Neal, Elk City, OK, 1 sister, Ashley Reynolds, Elk City, OK,
paternal grandmother, Lois Neal, Cheyenne, OK, maternal grandmother,
Gladys Osborne, Elk City, OK, his partner in life, Casey Bell, Healdton,
OK, 2 nephews, Channing and Brayden Rippetoe, Elk City, OK, and a host
of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM
at Berlin Cemetery under the direction of Whinery Funeral Service, Elk
City.
Visitation will be at Whinery Funeral Service on Wednesday,
October 14, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 P.M.
