Funeral services for Henry Calvin Bashaw of 602 West 8th, Elk City, who died in Community Hospital Tuesday, December 26, 1972 will be conducted from the Martin Funeral Chapel Friday, December 29, 1972 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Joe Clark, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under direction of Martin Funeral Home, Elk City.
Mr. Bashaw was born March 17, 1882 in Locksburg, Arkansas. He was 90.
He came to Oklahoma in early days and lived in the Altus area until 1936 when he moved to Elk City, where he has since lived.
He is survived by his wife, the former Florence Rose Rawls, whom he married December 26, 1950 in Elk City; three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Woodward of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Mrs. Sarah A. Madden of Hugo, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Helen Doris Moore of Sweetwater, Oklahoma; five sons, Henry Lee Bashaw of Cheyenne; Theodore Hanna of Magdelena, New Mexico; Bill Stancel of Sayre; Jack of Elk City; and Pete of Chandler, Arizona; twenty grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Two sons and two daughters preceded him in death.
Mr. Bashaw was the last member of his family.
