Matt Samuel, infant son of Jack and Bertha Samuel of Grand, Oklahoma, died at their home at 1:15 p.m. Friday, December 20, 1918.

The funeral service ably conducted by George Watson of Durham, Oklahoma, was held at the Bellview cemetery at 3:30 Saturday, December 21, 1918.

Bertha Samuel is in a critical condition, and Jack's mother, Sue Samuel of Fayetteville, Arkansas, arrived Sunday to assist Dr. Carey of Rankin in caring for her.

The writer extends the deepest sympathy to the bereaved parents and hope for the speedy recovery of the grief stricken mother.
