Gary Dean Baker, 67, of Oologah, OK passed away on Friday,
January 29, 2021 in Tulsa.
Visitation for Gary will be Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9:00
am – 8:00 pm at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 2,
2021 at Zion Hill Church with Pastor Wendell Ban officiating.
Graveside Services will follow at 3:00 pm, at Sardis Cemetery on
Sardis Lake.
Gary was born on February 23, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Marvin
Floyd Baker and the former Evelyn Pearl Winton. Gary moved to
the area in the 80’s from Oklahoma City. He worked in
construction most of his life and retired as an assistant
superintendent with Tulsa County Highway Construction. Gary was
a member of Zion Hill Church in Oologah. In his spare time, he
enjoyed hunting and fishing. His family considered him the best
daddy and granddaddy they could ever have. He loved them
unconditionally and they will miss that kindness and love he
brought to their lives.
Gary is survived by his wife Janis Baker of the home; his
children, Christi Jo King, Jacqueline Donegan, Stephanie
Anderson, Candice Moore, Michael Donegan, and Matthew Donegan;
his brothers Jimmy Kirkes and Delbert Baker; 16 grandchildren
and 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews,
family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents,
Marvin and Evelyn Baker.
