Anna L. Henslee, 88, passed from this life October 14, 2018 in Antlers, Oklahoma.
She was born June 25, 1930 in Atoka, Oklahoma to John B. and Jewel (Taylor) Birchfield. Anna married Clyde Henslee, March 19, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. Anna enjoyed being a housewife, doing crafts, fishing, camping, traveling in the motor home, and being around her family and friends. Anna was a resident of Antlers for more than 70 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rattan, Oklahoma.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents: J.B. and Jewel Birchfield; brother: Kenneth Birchfield; and sisters: Maynell House and Betty Crownover.
She is survived by her loving husband: Clyde Henslee of the home; sons: Rick Henslee and wife Joan of Antlers, Oklahoma, Alan Henslee and wife Melissa of Antlers, Oklahoma, Dwayne Henslee and wife Sue of Antlers, Oklahoma; daughter: Judy Kelley and Husband Robert of Prosper, Texas; brother: John D. Birchfield of Rattan, Oklahoma; sister: Theda Taylor of Rattan, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Anna will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Rattan Baptist Church.
Interment will follow at Rattan Cemetery.
