Eva Barrow Boyett passed from this life on August 13, 2001 in Antlers, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years. Eva entered into life on October 20, 1907 in Yarnaby, Oklahoma to the late Joseph S. Barrow and Molly Bishop Barrow.
Mrs. Boyett was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother her entire life.
She traveled in a covered wagon from Yarnaby and has resided in Ratten since 1912.
Eva married Odis Boyett on April 14, 1926 in Dela, Oklahoma.
She was of the Assembly of God Faith and was a member of Victory Assembly of God Church located in Rattan.
Some of Eva's most enjoyable lifetime activities included: quilting, spending time with her grandchildren and attending church services.
Mrs. Boyett leaves behind: three sons, J. T. Boyett of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Joe Glen Boyett and his wife Helen of Amarillo, Texas; and Harlan Boyett of Rattan, Oklahoma; three daughters, Lillie Mae Arms and her husband Lawrence of Hopeland, California; Nadine Thomas and her husband Mac of Antlers, Oklahoma; and Mary Anna Appealer and her husband Billy of Rattan, Oklahoma; twenty-eight grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; nineteen great-great grandchildren; three half-sisters, Birdie, Betty and Mary; along with an entire host of other relatives and friends.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Molly Barrow; her husband Odis Boyett, three sons, Junior Lee Boyett, L. O. Boyett and Jesse Lee Boyett; an infant daughter, Pauline Boyett; brother, Dee Barrow; her twin sister, Leva Durett ;and one granddaughter Patty Arms Fansler.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2001 at Victory Assembly of God Church in Rattan, Oklahoma with burial immediately following in Rattan Cemetery.
Bro. Keith Williams will be officiating with Bro. Kent Jensen assisting. Services are under the direction of Mills-Coffey Funeral Home.
