Jerry Eugene Brown Funeral services conducted by Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers 

Jerry Eugene Brown was born November 10, 1947 in Atoka to Jerry McKinley and Carrie Cordelia (Johnson) Brown . He passed from this life June 26, 2011 in Tulsa at the age of 63. Jerry had lived in the Antlers area for his entire life. He married Donna Clay in Sobol on December 21, 1967. Jerry retired from Antlers Public School in 2006. He had been in public education for 30 years as a teacher, coach & School Administrator. He enjoyed his dogs & working, but Jerry especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, & friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter: Tamee Ann Brown ; parents: Jerry & Carrie Brown ; siblings: Bill Hertz, Ted Hertz, Beatrice Brown , Delphia Larson, Bernice Handland, Bessie Ray Parsons, & Calvin Brown .

He is survived by his wife: Donna of the home; sons: Donnie Brown & wife Paula of Antlers and Wade Brown & wife Nikki of Antlers; grandchildren: Tyler Brown , Taylor Brown , Tristan Brown , Tanner Brown , & Hannah Brown ; siblings: Jim Hertz of Virginia Beach, VA., John Hertz of Tecumseh, Jess Hertz of Antlers, Norman Hertz of Folsom, CA., Mary Osgood of Yukon, Bob Brown of Del City, Albert Brown of Antlers, Barbara Sue Hill of Albuquerque, NM., Billie Brown of Tacoma, WA., & Virginia Ann Blake of Plano, TX.; as well as many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the First Assembly of God in Antlers with Reverend Robert Weeks officiating.

Musical selections included: "Go Rest High On That Mountain" performed by Larry Gaither and an insturmental of "Amazing Grace" performed by Leon Gee.
Pallbearers included: Monte Martin, Mike Berry, Bruce Akard, Byron Hedgecock, Mike Nabors and Terry Pate.

Honorary pallbearers were James Caldwell and Bob Settles. Interment followed at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Antlers. Family and friends may send online condolences at www.millscoffey.com.
