Shawn was born October 1, 1973, in Dallas, Texas to Billy Don Buchanan & Sandra Gail Ford. He loved spending time with family, going to the lake, camping, hunting and fishing and he loved music.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Shannon Buchanan, grandparents Fred and Mable Buchanan, uncles Freddy, Floyd, Danny, David & Nick Buchanan a nephew Eric Buchanan, cousin E.G. Buchanan Jr.
He is survived by his wife Brandy of the home, sister Shereana
Buchanan of Houston, nephew Adam Kane Taylor of Arkansas, nieces
Stephany Hatfield & Samantha Buchanan both of Florida,
brother-in-law Jason Spruell of Daisy, nieces April & Angel
Spruell & nephew Billy Spruell all of Daisy, aunts & uncles E.G.
Buchanan of Clayton, Jerry & Dawn Buchanan of Clayton, Tony &
Cindy Buchanan of Clayton, Peggy Buchanan, Elizabeth Harkins and
Bobby Buchanan all of Texas as well as numerous other relatives
and friends.
Pallbearers include Billy Spruell, Chris Dennis, Jason Spruell,
Jerry Buchanan, Tony Buchanan, E.G. Buchanan, Willard Robbins,
and Adam Kane Taylor. Honorary pallbearer Dexter Hammons.
Family Night will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 30th, 2020 at Burkhart Funeral Service of Clayton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 31st, 2020 at the Clayton School Auditorium.
Interment will follow at the Spruell Family Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Clayton.
