Mary Ellen Hurst Services: Sat., Nov. 19, 11:00 a.m.

Mary Ellen Hurst, 73, of Gore, formerly of Bakersfield, CA died Monday, November 14, 2005 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2005, at the Checotah Church of God East of Checotah officiated by Pastors Clyde Westberry and Tim Whisenhunt. Burial will follow in Noley Cemetery, Nashoba, Oklahoma under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Checotah.

Mrs. Hurst was born September 17, 1932 in Nashoba, Oklahoma to Arthur and Myrtle (Sanders) Watson.

She was a home health aide.

She is survived by three sons, Jim Hurst of Gore, Rick and Doug Hurst both of Bakersfield; three daughters, Linda Hurst and Mary Gillette both of Bakersfield and Debbie Kelly of Sulphur; five brothers, Buck, Jink, David and Ralph Watson all of Bakersfield, also Charles Watson of Gore; three sisters, Beatrice Burch, Virginia Westberry and Carol Weaver all of Bakersfield; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hurst was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Grover Watson; one grandson, Jerry Don Hurst; one granddaughter, Susan Kelly and one great-grandson, Kyle Kelly.
