Ruth Elizabeth Langendoerfer was born June 7, 1933 in Bonnot’s
Mill, Missouri to Nimrod & Ruby (Bonnot) Langendoerfer. Her
family later relocated to Coos Bay, Oregon where she met &
married Gene Taylor in October 1951 from Antlers, Oklahoma. They
had one child, Danny while in Oregon. This young family moved to
Antlers where they lived together until they divorced in 1977.
Ruth then married Eugene Bailey in 1984 & they lived in Nashoba
until his death in 1999. Ruth then moved back to Antlers & lived
there until her death on September 10, 2006.
Ruth is survived by her mother, Ruby Langendoerfer of Coos Bay,
Oregon who will be 102 years old in October. She is also
survived by her son, Danny Taylor & his wife, Brinda of Antlers,
3 grandsons, D J Taylor & his wife, Melissa of Mena, Arkansas,
Jake Taylor & his wife Amy of Antlers & Rodney Taylor & his wife
Wendy of Antlers. She also leaves behind 8 great grandchildren:
Kade, Arizona, Clay, Dakota, Ciera, Callie, Ryan & Colton. Other
survivors include her brothers, Lewis Langendoerfer of Redmond,
Oregon, Joe Langendoerfer of Salem, Oregon, Jack Langendoerfer
of Vancouver, Washington, Floyd Langendoerfer of Renton,
Washington, Bobby Langendoerfer of Salem Oregon & Jerry
Langendoerfer of Woodburn, Oregon; 2 sisters: Carrie Mellon of
Olympia, Washington & Rose Byrum of Covington, Georgia, as well
as a host of nieces & nephews.
Ruth is preceded in death by her
father & a younger sister Mary Lou Stroud. In Loving Memory of
