Mike Boling, 64, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his home in Antlers, Oklahoma surrounded by family and friends. Mike was born September 5, 1952 to Wayne and Lucille Boling in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Mike married his late wife Gloria June 4, 1975 in Pinehurst, Texas. They had been married thirty-eight years before Gloria's passing in 2013. Together they raised four boys. Years ago Mike took up gunsmithing and became very good at it. During his down time he enjoyed watching several different TV shows. When Mike wasn't watching TV he was caring for his five beloved dogs, who were more like his children than his animal companions. Mike enjoyed the time he spent visiting with his friends and family. He also enjoyed getting to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Boling; parents Wayne and Lucille Boling; grandparents Nathan and Eva Boling; step-daughter, Robin Brumley.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his children, Michael W. Boling Jr., and wife Annette, of Speer, Oklahoma, Shane Boling of Beaumont, California, Brian Boling and wife, Kim, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Brad Boling and wife, Gena, of Columbia, Missouri; step-children Randy Brumley and wife, Kathy, of College Station, Texas, Rick Brumley and wife Vickie of Shreveport, Louisiana, Renee Becker and husband Royal of Tyler, Texas, Rhonda Gregorski and husband, Robert, of Shreveport, Louisiana; sisters Pattye Boling and Debbie Pool; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will include Dylan Gregg, Billy Sam Smith, Jeffery Gregorski, Buck Smith, Trey Arriola, and Royal Becker.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Burkhart Funeral Chapel in Antlers with Brent Franks and Randy Brumley officiating.
