Dean was born July 17, 1935 in
Antlers to Jack and Georgia Cash. He died
peacefully at his daughter's home in Waukomis on
April 22, 1997. Dean was cremated and his
remains will be buried with his parents and
sisters, at his request. Arrangements are under
the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
Dean was raised on his father's farm in antlers,
and moved to northern
California at the age of 17, where he began his
career as a carpenter. On August 25, 1953 he
married Clarice Maxine West in Carson City,
Nevada. The couple shared 43 mostly wonderful
years together, residing in California and
Oregon. Dean and Clarice retired to Ada in 1992,
where they enjoyed fishing, woodworking and
gardening.
He is survived by his wife of the home; three
daughters: Deana Cash of Altus, Mary Conway of
Waukomis and Sandra Green of Muse; one son,
Michael Cash of Chicago; two sisters: Sherry
Torrey of Drummond and Patsy Heckerman of Enid;
eight grandchildren; and two great –
grandchildren.
Dean was preceded in death by one son, Marlin
Dean Cash Jr., (who is survived by his wife,
Estella); his parents; and three sisters.
Dean suffered so in his last days on earth. The
Lord saw his anguish and called him home. He was
a good man and he will will be missed early. We
love you Papa!
