Ann Steely, 70, passed away April 3, 2017 in Speer, Oklahoma. She was
born February 20, 1947 to Carl and Lona Lee (Earnest) Standridge in
Antlers, Oklahoma.
Ann lived in the Dunbar and Antlers community her entire life. She's was
a member of the Stanley Christ Church most of her life and always
enjoyed being involved in the church. Ann loved to spend her time
quilting, watching her favorite TV shows, and being with her dogs. The
most important thing to Ann was spending time with her family. She will
be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lona Standridge;
husband L.J. Steely; special friend Douglass Conley; brothers Eltion
Standridge and Billy Carrol Standridge; sisters Loretta Poston, Linnie
Lynn, and Fayrene Conley; six nephews and two nieces.
She leaves behind a loving family that includes her children Marion Dean
Steely of Dunbar, Oklahoma, Melinda Seybo and husband Tommie of
Savannah, Oklahoma; brothers Douglas Standridge of Antlers, Oklahoma and
Carl and wife Veda of Chectotah, Oklahoma; sisters Betty Hall of
Antlers, Oklahoma and Sherry Clark and Husband Stanley of Speer,
Oklahoma; granddaughters Melissa, Michelle, and Mystin; two
great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; special nieces DeAnna Bell
and husband Keith of Deridder, Louisiana and Stana Clark of Antlers,
Oklahoma; special great nieces Hannah Bell of Deridder, Louisiana and
Anna McCullough of Antlers, Oklahoma; special great nephew Clark Bell of
Deridder, Louisiana, as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives,
and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will include Keith Bell, Chad Conley, Danny Merker, Josh
Arms and Justus Lucas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Marks, Bobby Lane, Stanley Clark, Joey
McCullough, Bud Upchurch, DJ Merker and her Stanley Christ Church
family.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Friday April 7, 2017 at the Burkhart
Funeral Service chapel in Antlers with Gary Fuller officiating. Burial
will follow at Darwin Cemetery.
