Walter Dee Arnold passed from this life February 15, 2007 in Farris,
OK at the age of 86 years. Walter was born July 25, 1920 to James A.
and Mattie (Smith) Arnold in Farris, OK.
Walter was a Deacon for the Free Will Baptist Church in Center
Point, OK. He lived and worked in this area all of his life as a
carpenter and rancher. Walter served his country in the U.S. Army as
a Pvt. Tec 5 during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Mattie Arnold; a
daughter: Pansy Dee Arnold; two brothers: Herman Arnold and Lloyd
Arnold and a grandson: Bradley Martin.
Walter is survived by his wife: Pansy Dorcella Arnold of the home;
one son: Veachel Arnold and wife, Anetta, of Broken Arrow, OK; three
daughters: Charlotte Martin and husband, Larry, of Farris, OK, Lena
Long and husband, Jackie, of Lane, OK, and Marquietta Griffin and
husband, Gary, of Farris, OK; twelve grandchildren and sixteen
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives
and friends.
