Cathy Christine Crisel Emmett Whitehurst Ansley was born August 16, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to George and Elizabeth (Newson) Crisel. She passed from this life November 28, 2008 in Buffalo, TX. Cathy above all else loved her family and was loved deeply in return. In her kitchen hangs a sign that says “Nana’s Kitchen…. Where Memories are Made and Grandkids are Spoiled.” That cannot be more true!
Preceding her in death were her father: George Crisel; her 2nd husband: Jack Whitehurst; one brother: Johnny Crisel; one brother-in-law: Robert Whitehurst; & one grandson: David Allison.
Cathy is survived by her
husband: Robert Ansley; children: Leif Emmett, Doug Emmett, Debbie
Lamoreux, Becky Hall, Jackie Austin, Robbie Whitehurst, Rachel
Kelsey & Robbie Ansley and Jessica Paige; mother: Elizabeth Crisel;
sisters: Janis Robertson, Theresa Dansey, Sue Gilliam & Tammy
Becker; brothers: David & Donny Crisel; sisters-in-law: Theresa
Whitehurst & Renee Ansley; brothers-in-law Billy Whitehurst & Dan
Ansley; 22 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren along with numerous
nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and many dear & loved
friends.
