Funeral services for Haskell Harvey Langley will be held on
Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sobol Baptist
Church with Pastor David Jordan officiating and burial following
in the Corinne Cemetery. Haskell passed away Tuesday, December
23, 2014 in Paris, Texas, at the age of 79.
Haskell Harvey Langley was born March 15, 1935, in Sobol,
Oklahoma, to William and Lois (Horton) Langley. He passed from
this life December 23, 2014, in Paris, TX, at the age of 79.
He had lived in this area all of his life and was a member of
the Sobol Baptist Church. Haskell married Betty Morris on
December 30, 1954 in Hugo, OK. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and
riding horses. He was famous for telling stories; anytime there
were get-togethers, he was always sharing them with others. He
was known for using hand signals, which only he knew what they
meant. Haskell was preceded in death by his parents; two
brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by wife: Betty Langley of the home; two sons:
Harvey Langley of Rattan, OK, and Roger Langley and wife, Linda,
of Hugo, OK; two daughters: Debbie Dennisson and husband, Roger,
and Stacy Kendrix and husband, Jason, all of Sobol, OK; brother:
C.B. Langley of Oregon; 18 grandchildren and 7
great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and
friends.
