Robert Lee "Bobby" Loman, 82, passed from this life on October 29, 2020 in Tyler, Texas.
He was born on February 8, 1938 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Susan Loman Hughes (Sudie Loman). Bobby married Marguerite "Peggy" Dawson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and they spent many wonderful years together before her death in 2019. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and during his service obtained the rank of Sergeant. Bobby was also a member of the Methodist church of enjoyed building birdhouses, gardening, and jigsaw puzzles.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Marguerite "Peggy" Loman; mother: Sudie Loman Hughes; and brother: J.W. Hampton.
Bobby is survived by his sister: Carla Smalley and husband Russell of Athens, Texas; best friends: Otis Martin and Glenn McMahan; and his beloved dog, Bubba; he also leaves behind numerous other family members, cousins, and friends. Graveside services for Bobby will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2PM at the Antlers City Cemetery with Jimmy Jones officiating. Honorary pallbearers include: Russell Smalley, James Loman, Terry Loman, Howard Loman, Lloyd Loman, Otis Martin, Glenn McMahan, Duck Wayman, and Jonas Watson.
