Yvonne B. Lempera, 85, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services will be held at Noon, Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Antlers City Cemetery in Antlers, OK, with Reverend Ron Jarman officiating.

Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Lempera was born November 21, 1921, in Kenefic, Oklahoma, to Nora E. Goforth and Loris V. Barberousse. She graduated from Antlers High School in Antlers, Oklahoma. She joined the U.S. Army in February of 1944. It was there she met her future husband, George R. Lempera. They were married in 1945 in Florida. She retired from civil service.

Mrs. Lempera was a member of the Antlers Methodist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Lempera was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law, Don W. Burkhart.

Survivors include sister, Sue Burkhart, of Norman; brother, Loris V. Barberousse, Jr. of South Carolina; three nephews, Sonny Burkhart, of Oklahoma City, Tommy Burkhart and Jimmy Burkhart, both of Norman; four great nieces and nephews; and two great great nieces.
