Cora Irene Eubanks, age 85, passed from this life October 7th, 2019 in Antlers, Oklahoma.
She was born September 8th, 1934 to John and Cora (Allen) Williams in Antlers, Oklahoma. Irene married Curtis Eubanks April 15, 1952 in Antlers, Oklahoma. After school she helped take care of her family. Later she started picking cotton, cutting and hauling pulpwood and worked at various restaurants. Her love in life was being a homemaker for her family, quilting and being with all of her grandchildren and great children. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Cora Williams; husband: Curtis Eubanks; brothers: Lavelle Williams, Richard Williams, Frankie Williams, and Bobby Williams; and sister: Helen Lynch.
Irene is survived by her children: Doug and Terri Eubanks of Bullhead City, Arizona, Clifton Eubanks of Antlers, Oklahoma, Tammie and Chad Fewell of Honobia, Oklahoma, Tim and Charlotte Eubanks of Rattan, Oklahoma, Travis and Dezba Eubanks of Antlers, Oklahoma, and Van and Emi Eubanks of Sasebo, Japan; brother: Smitty Williams of Antlers, Oklahoma, sisters: Joann Manchester, Hazel Throckmorten, Marie Nabors, Rozine Fairless, and Charlotte Orr; grandchildren: Jaylon, Genni, Chad, Angie, Kelly, Michelle, Clifton, Josh, Ben, Tim, Charla, Heather, Adrian, Michelle, Crystal, Irene, Marshall, Lora, and Kyle; numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
Family night will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 6-7 PM at Serenity Funeral Service.
A celebration of Irene's life will be held 1:00 PM Thursday October 10, 2019 at Fresh Beginning's Church in Finley, Oklahoma with interment following at Antlers City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Serenity Funeral Service in Antlers, Oklahoma.
