Martha Lou (Burke) Cox

Sometime during the evening of March 25, 2017, Martha Lou Cox
left this life, and began her new journey. Martha was born in
Japan in 1950 to Carl Aston Burke and Willa Mae Burke.
Martha spent most of her life in Lawton and Norman, Oklahoma.
She was a spicy eccentric lady who one could not forget. She
spoke her mind, and lived her life in her own fashion. Martha
never met a stranger, and will be missed by all of her many
friends. Though this passing was before her time, we must not
forget the beautiful memories of her in our hearts. Her time
here is done, but she had an eventful life full of both struggle
and joy; a balancing act between the two. We should all be
thankful that she has found peace, and embrace our feelings of
grief in order to move forward. She will be forever loved and
remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have been a part
of her life. We know she will be watching over us, and we will
miss her one of a kind wit, and contagious laugh. We will see
you again Martha.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Willa Mae
Burke.
She leaves behind her husband George Cox; son Kevin Ring; sister
Susie Eubank and husband Thomas Eubank; Nephew Marcus Kyle
Cortez; Nieces Sarah Grimmig, Brandi Ford, and Amy Quinn all who
have children that enjoyed their Great Aunt.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at
Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers. Interment will follow at
Antlers City Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral
Service of Antlers.
