Vickie Ruth Ben, 62, passed from this life surrounded by family in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on November 21, 2017. She was born July 8, 1955 to Wick Henry and Nancy Ruth (Antwine) Smith in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Vickie was very much a momma and daddy’s girl growing up. She loved to dance and honky tonk, read romance novels but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She felt that every one of her coworkers at Legal Shields was part of her family. Vickie may have only had two boys of her own but, she was like a mom to so many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Wick Henry and Nancy “Dee” Smith; Donnie Ben and best friend: Anna Pearl Wilson.

Vickie is survived by her children: Aaron Chadwick Morgan and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Joshua James Morgan and Marci of Antlers; brother: Terry Smith and wife Angie of Antlers; grandchildren: Dawson Raywick Morgan, Josie Michelle Morgan and Waylon Cooper Morgan; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service for Vickie will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Assembly of God in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at Antlers City Cemetery.

Officiating the service will be Pastor Phil Rowland.

Pallbearers will include: Jamie Landreth, Ben Price, Cody Akard, Jeremy Roe, Eddie Barcus, James Barcus, Mark Janoe, David Taylor and Chad Neal. Honorary pallbearers will include: Brent Smith, Jon Paul Smith, Johnny Garman, Sarah Westbrook, Veronica Baker, Chrissy Payne, Jeanette Smith, Bobby Smith and Lori Aguirre.
