Delmar Ray Belcher was born July 31, 1932 in Lane, Oklahoma to Slater and Artie Mae (Goff) Belcher. He passed from this life February 9, 2010 in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. 

Ray married Willie Rae Smith on November 1, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ray was a 32nd degree Mason with Masonic Lodge #9 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was also a past member of the Elks Lodge in Ada, Oklahoma. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, driving his bulldozer and driving about the hills. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Ray is preceded in death by his parents: Slater & Artie Mae Belcher; and his brothers: Gene Belcher & Bud Belcher. 

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years: Willie Rae Belcher of Antlers; sons: James Belcher & wife Nancy of Tupelo, Oklahoma, Curtis Belcher & wife Kim of Atoka, Oklahoma, David Belcher & wife Tracey of Ft. Worth, Texas, Robert "Bobby" Belcher of Wagoner, Oklahoma; daughters: Bobbie Birchfield & husband Johnny of Antlers, and Raylene Belcher of Denison, Texas; sisters: Leona Johnson & husband James of McAlester, Oklahoma, Lou Johnson & husband Bob of Okay, Oklahoma, Phyllis Sanders & husband Don of Denton, Texas; step-mother: Pat Belcher of McAlester, Oklahoma; half-brother: Steven Belcher & wife Tina of McAlester, Oklahoma; half-sisters: Lucretia Petty & husband Curtis of Lewisville, Texas, Mary & husband Craig Kirk of Plano, Texas, Pam & husband Randy Davenport of Blanchard, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends, devoted nurse and loving friend Judy Taylor.
