Woody O’Neal Beasley, Sr. passed away November 30, 2006 in Elk City,
OK at the age of 56. Woody was born May 5, 1950 in Savannah, OK to
Robert Lee and Ruby Viola (West) Beasley.
He was a member of the Pentecostal faith. Woody worked most of his
life as a mechanic.
Woody was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Lee and Ruby
Viola Beasley and four brothers: Gary Beasley, Ricky Beasley, Allen
Beasley and Bobby Beasley.
He is survived by wife: Joanna Beasley of the home in Elk City, OK;
five children: Sherry Collette of Elk City, OK, Shiela Ann Beasley
of Oklahoma City, Woody O’Neal Beasley, Jr. of Elk City, OK, Linda
Brown of Blanchard, OK and Judy Roberts of Oklahoma City; three
brothers: Carl Beasley, and David Beasley all of Oklahoma City, and
Danny Irvin of Stonewall, OK; six sisters: Shirley Holt of Kermit,
TX, Linda Poindexter of Elk City, OK, Tammy Wilkinson of Oklahoma
City, OK, Connie Pipkin of Harrah, OK, Rosene Watson of Mead, OK,
and Irene Smith of Atoka, OK; 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild
and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
