Myrtle Georgia Beasley was born May 7, 1920 in Blanco, Oklahoma, to
George F. and Fannie Mae (Gibbins) Creswell. She passed from this
life August 15, 2011 in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years, 3
months, & 8 days.
Myrtle lived all her life in Antlers. She was of the Pentecostal
faith. She enjoyed watching her flowers grow, spending time with her
family and friends, and loving on her grandkids every chance she
got.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her first husband Babe C. “Son”
Watson; second husband: Sloney Eldon Beasley; daughter: Joyce
(Watson) Snider; great-granddaughter: Sharon Elizabeth Heflin;
parents: George & Fannie Creswell; and two brothers: Levi Baxter &
Jimmie Baxter.
She is survived by her sons: Tony Beasley & wife Julie of Antlers,
Johnny Beasley of Albion, Oklahoma, Henry Watson & wife Edna of
Antlers; daughter: Mary Sheets & husband Kenneth of Soper, Oklahoma;
brother: George Creswell of Illinois; one niece: Marie Nelson of
California; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous other
nieces & nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
