Diana Darlyne Austin, 62 of
Ada, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, May 11, 2015. She was
born August 17, 1952 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Robert Johnson and
Betty Ruth (Noah) Baker.
She enjoyed quilting, spending time with family, especially her
grandchildren and loved singing gospel music.
Diana is preceded in death by parents Robert and Betty Baker;
grandmother Nancy Wilkins; daughter Felicia Austin; and brother Dana
Baker.
She is survived by sons Earl Austin of Ada, Oklahoma; Benjamin
Austin and Pearl James of Bengal, Oklahoma; Nathan Austin and wife
Dawn of Coweta, Oklahoma; daughters Lavonda Baker and Branden
Montgomery of Foster, Oklahoma; Melissa Austin of Ada, Oklahoma;
grandchildren Arizona Taylor; Dakota Taylor; Marty Meshaya; Justice
Austin; Zach Bolding; Micah Austin; Avery Austin; Zeke Austin; Logan
Austin; sister Nancy Taylor and husband Joe of Tishomingo, Oklahoma;
brother Robert Baker and Debbie James of Talihina, Oklahoma; husband
Dwight Austin of Finley, Oklahoma; a special aunt Odetha Billy (Aunt
Jean) of Antlers, Oklahoma; a special friend Elizabeth Robbins; as
well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers include: Sterling Battice, Tony Frazier, Daniel Baker,
Layman Clay, Shawn Harley, Donell Frazier and honorary pallbearer
Chad Neal.
Wake Service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 6-8 pm at
Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers. Services will be held 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church in Antlers, Oklahoma
with John Stevenson and Don Jacobs officiating.
Interment will follow at Antlers Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service of Antlers.
