Jimmie Ray Wallace, age 81 passed away from this life at his home in Asher, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25th at The First Baptist Church in Asher. Pastor Randy Durrim will officiate, and burial will follow at Wanette Cemetery.

Jimmie was born October 2, 1937 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Virgil Ray Wallace and Ester (Butterfield) Wallace. He graduated from Asher High School and was a dairy farmer. He married Dixie Louise Boler June 11, 1958 at Wanette Baptist Church. Jimmie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Asher, and he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dixie Wallace of the home; two sons, Jimmie Wallace, Jr. of Asher and Kendall Wallace and wife, Kristen also of Asher; one sister, Theda Suchy and husband Max of Asher; and one grandchild, Matthew Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Ester Wallace; two brothers, Kyle and Larry Wallace.
