Beth Garretson, age 56 of Wanette, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2016, at the OU Medical Center in Okla. City. Elizabeth Elaine Gregson was born December 15, 1959 in Houston, TX, 1 of 6 children born to Robert Keith Gregson and Mary Ellen (Shannon) Gregson. Beth married her best friend and true love, Charles Mason Garretson, and together they raised two children, son, Joe and daughter, Mandy. Known as Sis, Mom and Nana, Beth cherished her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening with Charlie and eagerly awaited fresh vegetable harvests. She enjoyed baking sweets for family events. Beth was an avid fan of the OU Sooners, the OKC Thunder and the St. Louis Cardinals. She also enjoyed music, movies and reading novels. A loyal friend, she will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Robert and Mary Gregson and Brother, Mark Gregson.
Beth leaves behind: Her husband, Charlie Garretson of the home; Son, Joe Garretson and wife Amanda of Greenwood, AR; Daughter, Mandy Ray and husband Darrick of Purcell; Brother, Keith Gregson of Asher, OK; 2 sisters, Glenda Schwarz and husband Richard of Sugar Land, TX + Kathy Gregson of Tribbey, OK; 5 grandchildren, Jaden Charles Bise, Mark Joseph Garretson, Shaylyn Gale Roberts, Kya Jade Schmidt and Breanna Nycole Ray and A host of other family and friends.
Memorial Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 6, 2016, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Send online condolences at wilsonlittle.com.
