GARY WAYNE WEGMAN
1957 - 2016

Gary Wayne Wegman, age 59 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life at his home on Monday, July 11, 2016.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Vista Cemetery west of Konawa. Rev. Drew Isaacs will officiate, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Gary was born April 18, 1957 at Burtonwood AFB located in Warrington Borough in Lancashire, England to William L. Wegman and Louise Stephens Wegman.
He graduated from Konawa High School, and he married Marilyn Kay Laxton February 14, 1994 in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the courthouse.
Gary worked as a roughneck in the oilfield, and he was a member of First Baptist Church in Konawa.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Wegman of the home; two sons, Ronald Wayne Wegman and wife, Tiffany of Konawa, and John DeMaris and wife, Voney of Konawa; one daughter, Chrystal Buckridge of Konawa; and twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A book is available for signing at the funeral home.
