RALPH NOLIN WRIGHT

June 5, 1941 - December 12, 2017

Ralph Nolin Wright, age 76, formally of Broken Arrow, OK passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Tuttle Care Center in Tuttle, OK. Ralph was born June 5, 1941 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. He was one of nine children born to David Higgins Wright and Pearl Ruby (Hickey) Wright. Ralph grew up a country boy and attended Tribbey High School. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for four years. After being honorably discharged in 1962 he returned home to Oklahoma and later married and started a family. Ralph worked most of his life in the oil field as an electrical engineer and lived many years in Broken Arrow, OK. Throughout his life he was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He was a 32 degree Mason and in the 1980’s he got his private pilot license. He later owned his own airplane. Ralph will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by: Parents, David and Ruby Pearl Wright; Three brothers, Jim, Warren and Lewis Wright.

He is survived by: Three children, Kellie Wright of Tulsa, Brian Wright of Sand Springs, Megan Wright of Tulsa; Five sisters, Marie Perkins of Friona, TX, Veda Anderson of Altus, OK, Verma Sisson of Lincoln, CA, Barbara Day of Mustang, OK, Marilyn Wilson of Blanchard, OK; Five grandchildren, Kristin, Kaitlin, Sethan, Coleman and Nolan; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

There will be a Mass of Intention in memory of Ralph, at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, December 17, at Parish Church of St. Jerome in Tulsa, OK. A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 18, at Tribbey Cemetery, Tribbey, OK. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children’s Transportation Account of Akdar Shrine of Tulsa. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home, Purcell, OK.
