Michael "Mike" D. Morgan, 75, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 in Oklahoma City.
He was born September 28, 1944 to Roy and Rubye (Megehee) Morgan in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Mike was raised in Tribbey and graduated with the class of 1962 from Tribbey High School. He lived most of his adult life in Tecumseh.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged.
Mike married Betty Jean Terrell on December 27, 1963 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on May 24, 2003.
He worked as a commercial produce trader for most of his career and in 2010 retired from Buddy's Produce in Midwest City.
Mike enjoyed golf, woodworking and fishing. Some of the most memorable highlights of his life were hitting a hole-in-one, getting to fly in the Goodyear Blimp and riding in the Oscar Myer Wienermobile.
He was preceded in death by wife, Betty Jean Morgan; and his parents, Roy and Rubye Morgan.
Survivors include two sons, John (Kristy) Morgan of Kingwood, TX, and Charles Morgan of Shawnee, OK; daughter-in-law, Michelle Lindenbaum of McLoud, OK; six grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Daniel, Abigail, Kacia and Lane; three brothers, Steve Morgan, David Morgan and Don Morgan; and many friends and extended family.
The family would like to express thanks to the physicians, nurses, and staff of Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, Mercy Hospital, Heritage at Brandon Place Nursing Center, and Physicians Choice Hospice.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2020 and continue through service time with family gathering to greet friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with John Morgan, Second Baptist Church, Houston, TX officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in Tribbey under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to the Oklahoma Blood Institute.
