Larry Randall “Randy” Ashcraft, 62, of Chandler, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
He was born August 26, 1959 to Larry Don and Virginia Evelyn (Johnson) Ashcraft in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Randy was raised in Tecumseh, Oklahoma and attended Tecumseh Public Schools. He graduated with the class of 1977 from Tecumseh High School. Randy lived many places, but most recently was a resident of Chandler.
He worked for Vox Printing in Edmond/Oklahoma City for 30 plus years and was very close to his work family at Vox. Randy also worked as an artist at his studio called Virran Studios, where he was a sculptor and pencil artist. Randy was a very talented artist and did some paintings.
He was a member of Victory Life Church in Chandler. Randy was strong in his faith and a devoted man of God. He was always searching for happiness and loved being a Nerd. Randy loved the Lord of The Rings, Star Wars and comic books. He loved his family and friends; especially his grandkids who were the focal point of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Virginia Ashcraft; his grandparents; and one uncle.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jennifer Nolan of Shawnee, OK; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Zack and Kenzie Ashcraft of Ada, OK and Wyatt Ashcraft of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Jayden Dibler of Shawnee, OK, Samuel Lucero of Shawnee, OK, Kal-El Hanthorn of Shawnee, OK, Paisley Ashcraft of Ada, OK and Scout Ashcraft of Ada, OK; 8 grand-dogs; 5 brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Keith Ashcraft of Oklahoma City, OK, David and Rhonda Ashcraft of Moore, OK, Tim Ashcraft of Chandler, OK, Terry Ashcraft of CA and Don Ashcraft of CA; numerous nieces, nephews; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Paul Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Tribbey Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
