Reba (Bailey) Wright, 86, of Shawnee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Reba was born February 12, 1935 in Macomb, Oklahoma to Ira Bailey and Oleta (French) Bailey. She attended school at Prairie Valley in Seminole County where she graduated in 1953 as Salutatorian of her class.
She married Robert Wright, Jr. on June 28, 1982.
Reba was employed by American General Life Insurance Company in Shawnee for 27 years, and later owned a bookkeeping and tax business. She was a faithful member of Wallace Avenue Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents; her parents, Ira and Oleta Bailey; and her sister, Sheryl Bailey Hindle.
Surviving family members are her husband, Robert Wright of the home; sister, Linda Rayfield of, Oklahoma City; brother, Tommy Bailey of Shawnee; niece, Dawn Hindle of Los Angeles, CA; 3 nephews, Richie Rayfield of Oklahoma City, Jeff Rayfield and family of Harvest, AL and Tony Hindle of Frederick MD; brother-in-law, Zeb Wright of Wichita, KS; also numerous other relatives and friends. Reba will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 and continue through service time. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with DeWayne Colvin officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
