November 8, 1956 ~ March 15, 2024

Ragenia "Jeannie" Louise Stover passed from this life on March 15, 2024.

She was born to Dean and Cleamon Rogers on November 8, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Jeannie was a cherished member of the Rogers family, sister and best friend to Beth Jeffcoat and Buddy Rogers.

She graduated from Tecumseh High School with the class of 1975. Jeannie always felt a sense of love and pride for the high school and often attended class reunions and alumni events.

In September 1991, Jeannie began her role at the Pottawatomie County Election Board, of which she became Secretary in May 2015. Jeannie loved working at the election board. She loved the people there and was honored to service her community in that capacity. Jeannie retired from this role in 2021.

Upon retirement, she began caring for her mother, she rekindled her love of sewing, and enjoyed attending events with her Beta Sigma Phi sisters. Jeannie's friendships encompassed all aspects of her life, and each was special to her. From phone calls to ball games, to concerts, long trips or short trips she was up for them all.

Jeannie's love, pride, and dedication extended to her daughters, Tiffany Stover and Miranda McElroy, who remember her as a nurturing soul, always ready with encouragement and good advice.

Jeannie had six grandchildren that she loved fiercely, they were the bright lights in her life; Conley, Jensen, Trenton, Lily, Bennett and Logan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cleamon Rogers, Jeannie's memory will be kept alive by her daughters, her grandchildren, her mother, her siblings, her nephew, great nephews, great nieces and many cousins and other extended family and friends.

Jeannie Stover will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
