Cleamon Hubert Rogers, age 85, of Tecumseh passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Shawnee, OK.

He was born December 4, 1935 in Trousdale, OK to Hubert Clayton and Lucille L. (Nobles) Rogers.

Cleamon was born and raised in Trousdale and graduated with the Trousdale Class of 1954.

He lived in Del City and Midwest City before moving to Tecumseh in 1969, where he has lived ever since.

Cleamon married Eula Dean Smith on December 3, 1955 in Tecumseh.

Cleamon retired from COJAC and is also a retired volunteer firefighter for Tecumseh. He also owned and operated Rogers Gulf Station in Tecumseh for many years.

Cleamon was the face of Tecumseh 4H and FFA. He was an active, beloved, and past President of the Tecumseh 4H and FFA Booster Club from 1973 to present. He was a man of many talents, including little league baseball coach and starting the T-Ball program in Tecumseh in the 1970’s, and had a green thumb with gardening. He loved sports and attending any activity his grandchildren and great grandchildren were in.

Cleamon was a member of the Pott. County Cattleman’s Association. He was a recipient of the Agra Business Award and an honorary member of the Tecumseh FFA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and 1 brother, Waylon Rogers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Dean, of the home; 2 daughters, Jeannie Stover and Beth Jeffcoat, both of Tecumseh; son, Buddy Rogers of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Tiffany and Mike Dowell, Miranda and Lee McElroy, and Shawn and Dawn Jeffcoat; great grandchildren, Braden, Davis, Gage, Jet and Paisley Jeffcoat, Kenzie Pelletier, Trenton, Lily and Logan Dowell, and Conley, Jensen, and Benny McElroy; 2 sisters-in-law, Velda Rogers of Choctaw, OK and Glenda Hudson of Oklahoma City; many other family; and numerous friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 and continue through service time at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Napier, Rock Creek Baptist Church, Shawnee, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

The family has designated donations to Tecumseh 4H and FFA Booster Club, P.O. Box 393, Tecumseh, OK. 74873 as appropriate for memorials in Cleamon’s memory.
